Farmville maker valued at $2.61 billionتقييم الشركة التي طورت لعبة “فارم فيل” بأكثر من بليونين ونصف من الدولارات

Private companies tend to keep their financial data locked away from preying eyes, and so calculating their value is not easy. Blur to tweet لعبة “بلر” ستكون مربوطة مع موقع تويتر

Bizarre Creation’s Ben Ward sent out a tweet yesterday, showcasing how Blur will have a Twitter feature built into the game.

When playing the game, you can hit the Left Bumper at (almost) any time, and “Share” details of your profile to Twitter. This could be info on who you’ve just beaten in a race, which rank you’ve reached in the leaderboards, how many events you’ve completed, and a whole bunch more.

Previously, Uncharted 2 was such a game that allowed players to tweet from within the game. Unlike Blur’s “almost” real time Tweeting ability however, Uncharted 2 had predefined settings that allowed the player to send out a tweet whenever some significant milestones had been reached in the game, including Trophies. This feature led to some spoilers for the game before it came out as press reviewers were unintentinally tweeting their game progress for the whole world to see.
