[Review] Metro 2033 تقرير لعبة مترو

Metro 2033 is set in a post apocalyptic Russia. All the inhabitants have taken refuge in the sprawling underground Metro system in order to survive. They have set up small shanty towns and markets, and the survivors use the network of tunnels as an improvised road system that only the brave dare use in order to communicate and trade with other towns. The apocalypse that took place on the surface created a variety of mutants that now constantly harass and attack the survivors. You take control of Artyom, a young inhabitant of the Metro, and you must follow him on a lengthy quest in order to pass a message to another town.

Red Faction coming to the silver screen لعبة رد فاكشن في طريقها إلى السينما

Seems that THQ’s core games VP – Danny Bilson – has shared lots of information with the CVG team, but they prefer to break the news bit by bit. Turns out that THQ is considering a movie based on the universe of Red Faction; an FPS that was released in 2001 for the PS2 and PC by THQ and Volition. It’s all coming under the new THQ’s trans-media strategy, to promote the upcoming Red Faction 4.

THQ to reveal a new ‘Melee Combat’ game at E3 الإعلان قريباً عن لعبة مصارعة جديدة من شركة تي اتش كيو

Speaking to CVG, core games VP – Danny Bilson – let go some piece of information about a Melee Combat title that THQ will be publishing in the near future it seems, with full details to come out during E3. “When we announce it you’ll go, ‘oh they’re going with THQ, cool’,” said Bilson. THQ is the publishing many Wrestling titles, like Wrestlemania and UFC series, and now this upcoming mysterious third franchise. Hope THQ can keep the quality high enough.

THQ plans 6 ‘aggressive’ downloadable games شركة تي اتش كيو تخطط لطرح 6 ألعاب للتحميل

During GDC 2010, Joystiq magazine interviewed THQ executive VP of Core Games, Danny Bilson, who announced that THQ plans to release “up to six” downloadable titles within the next year, some based on “two or three” of THQ’s biggest franchises. For this mission, THQ has assigned 2 studios: THQ Digital Studios Phoenix (formerly Rainbow Studios) and THQ Digital Studios UK (formerly Juice Games).

Darksiders demo out now on X360 & PS3 إصدار نسخة ديمو من لعبة دارك سايدرز على أجهزة اللعب المنزلية

The 90 minutes demo for Darksiders, which features the first dungeon of the game ‘The Twilight Cathedral’, is out now on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The demo, features various puzzles and slaughtering of many, many angels & demons. Also, two boss fights. Overall then, this demo for Darksiders should give the player a good feel of the game and perhaps some insight into why the game got banned.

[Gone Gold] Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising لعبة دون أوف وور الثانية في الطريق إلى الأسواق

THQ announced that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising has reached the Gold master stage of development and actually entered manufacturing. Developed by Relic Entertainment, Chaos Rising features the traitorous Chaos Space Marines army as a playable race, a new single-player campaign, a level cap increase from 20 to 30, more powerful war-gear and a suite of innovative multiplayer options. Scheduled for release on March 11, 2010 in the US, and on March 12, 2010 in Europe and Middle East. Chaos Rising will be available as a Games for Windows LIVE PC title for a suggested retail price of $29.99, but it will retail for 169 AED/SAR in the Middle East.
