E3-THQ: Line-up for E3 2010

What we failed to fathom is THQ showing Metro 2033, a game released few months back, without a hint for a sequel or a DLC, but who are we to judge, right? Still, other titles are worth checking like Red Faction: Armageddon, and first hands-on previews of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 and WWE All Stars. The Online titles also look promising.

THQ finally announced that the fourth title in the Red Faction franchise is currently in development at Volition, Inc. and is scheduled to ship for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in March 2011. Red Faction: Armageddon moves beneath the surface of Mars as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As Darius Mason, players fight to save humanity from an even greater evil that threatens to extinguish all life on the planet.

THQ has announced the next evolution of Company of Heroes, becoming a free-to-play micro-transaction online multiplayer, slated for a fall release in the North American. Developed by THQ’s Relic Entertainment studio, Company of Heroes Online builds on the frenetic RTS action of the original Company of Heroes, offering army specialization, commander customization, and persistent progression, allowing players to strategize on and off the battlefield.

THQ has announced the development of Truth or Lies, a unique new ‘truth or dare’ style party game, for Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. Set for release this Fall, players join family and friends in a round-table style game play answering an astonishing array of thought-provoking questions. Utilizing a proprietary voice calibration system that works in conjunction with either the Xbox 360 Wireless Microphone or USB microphone, Truth or Lies measures stress levels in a player’s voice to reveal the honesty of their answers.

THQ reduces its losses and is on track for a profitable 2011شركة تي إتش كيو تخفف خسائرها وتتوجه لتحقيق أرباح في العام القادم

THQ has reported their financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2010, highlighting that annual net sales rose 8% to $899 mil, while minimizing the annual net loss to $9 mil, compared with a net loss of $431 mil last year. UFC 2009 Undisputed and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 each shipped nearly 4 million units in fiscal 2010.
