The Ultimania series are guide books published in Japan solely for Square Enix RPGs, with 38 releases so far, beginning with Final Fantasy VIII in 1999. Anyways, apart from scenario guides and walkthroughs, these books also contain interviews with the development staff of the games.

[Rumour] Final Fantasy VII remake or Kingdom hearts III incoming إشاعة!! إعادة إنتاج فاينل فانتسي 7 أو كينجدوم هارتس3

In a recent interview with Gemaga magazine (yes, Japan has more than just Famitsu!) Tetsuya Nomura was asked about upcoming projects in 2010. He said that he can’t answer directly but there’s an unannounced game under development, one which is highly anticipated and asked about a lot, by both fans and in interviews around the world.

Final Fantasy XIII official soundtrack إصدار الموسيقى الخاصة بلعبة فاينال فانتسي

The official website for Final Fantasy XIII’s soundtrack went live recently. Square Enix has listed details of the retail release of the game’s OST. A Standard Edition that comes on 4 discs will set you back ¥3,990 (USD 45/ AED 165) . The Collector’s Edition, dubbed the Firstcut Limited Edition will come in a special casing with an additional drama CD showing one of the seven prologue stories of the game. The Firscut LE will set you back a cool ¥5,250 (USD 59/ AED 217) costing as much as the game itself.

The site currently has a sampler of the first 10 tracks of the OST. The second track is the main theme of FF XIII, also the main menu theme, at least on the demo disc. The other tracks sound like they’re from various cutscenes or battle music. The OST hits retail on 27th January 2010 in Japan.

Final Fantasy XIII out 9.3.2010 إصدار لعبة ‘فاينال فانتازي 13’ في 9-3–2010

After years of waiting, we need only wait some more. The release date for Final Fantasy XIII for Europe and North America have been dated as 9th March 2010. Yes, that’s roughly 3.5 months from today! Japan gets the game on 17th December, a month from today.

There is some bad or (more) good news depending on how you take it, the Western release will have a different theme song than Japan. We get “My Hands” by Leona Lewis, while Japan get’s “Kimi ga Irukara (Because You’re Here)” by Sayuri Sugawara. Quite the change in FF series this time around, quicker release date in West, different theme songs, multi-platform and multi-region launch as well.

إصدار لعبة ‘فاينال فانتازي 13’ في 9-3–2010

تحدد أخيراً 9 مارس 2010 تاريخاً لإصدار لعبة ‘فاينال فانتزي 13’ -التي انتظرناها لسنوات طوال- في الأسواق الأوروبية والأمريكية بينما سيحصل اليابانيون على اللعبة قبل الجميع في 17 ديسمبر (كانون الأول) أي بعد شهر من الآن. أجل، علينا الانتظار ثلاثة شهور ونصف آخرين!

هناك المزيد من الأخبار التي قد يعتبرها البعض جيدة بينما سيجدها آخرون سيئة؛ وهي أن الإصدار الغربي سيأتي بأغنية مختلفة عن الإصدار الياباني، فبينما سيأتي الإصدار الغربي بأغنية ‘ليونا لويس’ My Hands، سيحصل اليابانيون على أغنية ‘سايوري سوجاوارا’ Because You’re Here باليابانية. تحول جديد في سلسلة ‘فاينال فانتزي’ من حيث سرعة الإصدار في الأسواق الغربية واختلاف أغنية اللعبة وإصدار اللعبة لمنصات عديدة وإطلاقها في عدة مناطق أيضاً.
