Metro 2033 Ranger Pack coming to XBL & Steam ’إصدار حزمة ‘رينجر’ للعبة ‘مترو 2033’ في سوق اكس بوكس لايف’ ومتجر ‘ستيم

THQ slipped out the first details on the Ranger Pack for Metro 2033. The Ranger Pack adds new weapons, new achievements and the deadly ‘Ranger Mode’ game rules. In standard Ranger Mode, ammo is dramatically reduced and all weapons cause more damage. Your foes are deadlier than ever – but so are you! ‘Ranger Hardcore’ adds an additional challenge as the HUD is totally removed, creating the most immersive Metro 2033 experience yet.

[Review] Metro 2033 تقرير لعبة مترو

Metro 2033 is set in a post apocalyptic Russia. All the inhabitants have taken refuge in the sprawling underground Metro system in order to survive. They have set up small shanty towns and markets, and the survivors use the network of tunnels as an improvised road system that only the brave dare use in order to communicate and trade with other towns. The apocalypse that took place on the surface created a variety of mutants that now constantly harass and attack the survivors. You take control of Artyom, a young inhabitant of the Metro, and you must follow him on a lengthy quest in order to pass a message to another town.

Metro 2033 achievements’ list لائحة الإنجازات الخاصة بلعبة مترو 2033

The French SuccesFull.fr website has posted the full achievement list for the forthcoming THQ’s Metro 2033 on the Xbox360. The game has a total of 39 achievements, and will reward the player with the a maximum of 1000 points. The highest rewarding achievement, called Invisible Man which tasks the player to complete the “Frontline” level without killing anyone, will reward the player with 40 points. Next comes the Inquisitor which asks for killing 2 demons for 35 points.

Metro 2033 news أخبار لعبة مترو2033

THQ’s upcoming action title Metro 2033: The Last Refuge is now available for pre-purchase on Steam for $49.99, and doing so will get you Red Faction: Guerrilla for free. The game is still slated for a March 16, 2010 release date in the US, and March 26 in the EU and ME. Meanwhile, some brand new screenshots has been posted by the German pcgames.de website (Google translation here), and interestingly enough, a female character shows up, meaning the story has been tweaked since we had our Hands-On experience in Moscow. Finally, 4A; the developer, has released a new trailer for the game, below:

[Dated] Metro 2033 coming out next March 2010 لعبة مترو 2033 قادمة في مارس المقبل

Seems like it’s really coming out this time, after years of development and tweaking. Metro 2033 is set to land on the PC and Xbox360 on March 16th in the US, March 18th down under, and March 19th in Europe and Middle East. According to the press release by THQ, there are also special editions which will be available for both formats, including exclusive content that varies by region. On the other hand, THQ’s Twitter posts have confirmed that there will be no pre-release demo! But the Facebook page of the game has confirmed that:

Original Russian Voice option in Metro 2033 confirmed! You asked for it, we made it happen. Both PC and 360 versions of Metro 2033 will allow you to play with full Russian voice-over, with subtitles. Look out for a wave of Metro media and preview coverage next week.

New story trailer for Metro 2033 مقطع فيديو جديد للعبة مترو

THQ.TV has posted a new trailer for 4A’s forthcoming survival shooter Metro 2033, which we had the chance to play with its early demo in Moscow, 65 meters underground. The game was slated for an early 2010 release, then got pushed back till April 2010. We just hope this is the last of its delays, as this game has been competing with Duke Nukem Forever in missing release dates. [Hands on] Metro 2033 تجربة لعبة مترو

Instead of the traditional fancy locations, THQ; the publisher for the post apocalyptic first-person shooter Metro 2033, has chosen to go deep under the surface, 65 meters to be exact, to invite an army of videogames journalists and reporters to Moscow, Russia, to try out the game.
