The Panel of judges

The competitions brought forward the best of UAE’s hidden singing talents, who were judged by the official SingStar score rating and a judging panel comprising of representatives from Sony PlayStation Gulf, Dubai Festival City, Dubai One TV, and Radio 92. Dubai 92 FM’s Catboy and Geordiebird were highlights of the show and rocked the Mic every Saturday night.

The final round started at 7pm and went on for 3 hours, and although it was a cold night, something Dubai is not used to, the PlayStation branded beanbags that filled the outdoor venue provided a nice cosy atmosphere which encouraged the public to register, beat their stage fright and go up and sing in front of everyone. The judges, MC’s and audience provided the enthusiasm that made this an unforgettable and totally enjoyable experience.

Sameh Sultan from Egypt was crowned the champion of the SingStar Karaoke Nights for the “above 16 category”; and Tanvi Bhakta from India for the “below 16” category. Sameh became a public figure that night thanks to his charismatic personality. When he was announced the winner, he performed his last song, while going around and interacting with the cheering crowd. During his last song, after being announced as the winner, he brought his baby son on stage and introduced him to the public and carried him singing!

SingStar is a game that lets you sing to your favourite artists along with their actual videos. The game scores you on how good (or bad!) you are, either singing on your own or with friends. There are thousands of songs from a variety of musical genres and artists for you to choose from.

إعلان نجوم غناء الإمارات في لعبة سنغنغ ستارز

بالتعاون بين كل من شركة سوني بلايستيشن الخليج و Dubai Festival City، جرت فعاليات تنظيم مجموعة من الأمسيات الخاصة بالغناء المتواقت Karaoke على لعبة SingStar على منصات بلايستيشن3، وذلك كل يوم سبت خلال شهري ديسمبر ويناير. وقام المشاركون بالحضور والمشاركة بالغناء لإظهار مواهبهم في شتى أنواع الغناء ولكل الأجيال ابتداءً من أغاني فرق Abba، Queen وحتى Britney Spears و Pink، والذين أثبتوا شعبيتهم للجميع وجعلوهم يدمدمون ويقرعون أقدامهم مع الإيقاع بكل حماس.

لقد أظهرت هذه المنافسات أفضل مواهب الغناء المختبئة في الإمارات، والذين تم التحكيم عليهم من قبل نتائج اللعبة الرسمية (SingStar Score rating) إضافة إلى لجنة خاصة تألفت من ممثلين عن Sony PlayStation Gulf, Dubai Festival City, Dubai One TV, و Radio 92. وقام المعلقان الشهيران من راديو Dubai 92، وكل من مذيعي الراديو Catboy و Geordiebird بإمتاع الحضور وإلهاب حماسهم كما في كل ليلة سبت.

بدأت الجولة النهائية من المنافسة في السابعة مساءً واستمرت لمدة ثلاث ساعات، وعلى الرغم من أنها كانت ليلة باردة بشكل لم تعتده دبي، إلا أن المقاعد التي ملأت المكان وعليها علامة بلاي ستيشن أشاعت جواً من البهجة والراحة وشجعت الجماهير على التسجيل في المسابقة متغلبين على خوفهم من المسرح كي يواجهوا الجمهور ويغنوا أمام الجميع. إضافة إلى ذلك فقد تكفل القضاة والمعلقون والجمهور بإشاعة جو كبير من الحماس للمشاركين مما جعل من تلك الليلة تجربة ممتعة بشكل كامل.

وهكذا تم تتويج المصري “سامح سلطان” كبطل لليالي الكاروكي بلعبة SingStar لفئة فوق 16 سنة، والهندية “تانفي بهاكتا” لفئة دون 16 سنة. وتحول سامح إلى شخصية معروفة وشعبية بين الجمهور بفضل شخصيته المحببة. وعندما تم إعلانه كفائز في المسابقة، فقد اعتلى خشبة المسرح وأدى أغنيته الأخيرة وهو يجول بين الجماهير وسط تصفيق حاد ، وفي النهاية حمل ابنه الصغير إلى المنصة وقدمه للجماهير ثم استمر بالغناء وهو يحمله!

في النهاية لابد من أن نشير أن لعبة SingStar هي لعبة تتيح لك الغناء المتواقت Karaoke مع فرقك الموسيقية المفضلة وأنت تشاهد أفلامهم. ومن ثم تقوم اللعبة بتسجيل معدل أدائك ومدى جودته (أو سوءه)، ويمكنك أن تغني بشكل منفرد أو مع مجموعة أصدقاء. كما أن هناك الآلاف من الأغنيات والمغنين وأنواع الموسيقى التي يمكن لك أن تختار منها ما يناسبك.
