The TRON universe is coming to additional platforms, thanks to Disney Interactive Studios, namely the Wii, NDS and PSP. These games join the previously announced (in Dec 09) TRON: Evolution for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Windows PC. The TRON: Evolution games will be released in Holiday 2010 before the “TRON: Legacy” film hits U.S. theaters on December 17 in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D.

TRON: Evolution – Battle Grids (Wii)
Developed by n-Space Inc., is an action game set in the combat arenas and streets of the TRON Universe. The game features a championship mode where friends can compete against each other or play together in fully customizable tournaments. Story mode allows players to evolve their created character in the quest to become the Game Grids Champion. In addition, the game features more than 15 game grid challenges with iconic TRON weapons and vehicles such as battle and survival mode in light cycles and battle and grid capture mode in light discs. In grid challenges players can compete with family and friends in local games for one to four players.

TRON: Evolution (NDS)
The game casts the player in the story as an up-and-coming TRON entity, featuring an adventure mode where players battle in arenas while uncovering a conspiracy to rig the Grid Games. In addition, the game features a Grid Games Championship where players compete in arena matches or in races. Grid games feature local multiplayer with iconic TRON vehicles, such as light cycles and light tanks in competitive and cooperative modes, including capture the flag and last man standing.

TRON: Evolution PSP
Players advance and customize their character as they compete in an extensive series of action-packed game grid challenges, ranging from intense light cycle racing, to light disc combat. Players can battle and compete with up to four friends in multiple head-to-head matches and play modes. Players can also unlock exciting bonus content that is sure hit home with TRON fans. TRON: Evolution PSP is being developed by SuperVillain Studios.

بفضل استوديوهات‘ديزني انتراكتيف ستوديوز’سيصدر عالم ‘ترون’- ترون: إيفليوشن للمزيد من المنصات وتحديداً للـ‘ويي’ و‘دي اس’ و‘بي اس بي’ في موسم العطلات 2010 قبل عرض فيلم Tron: Legacy الثلاثي الأبعاد في دور العرض بالولايات المتحدة في 17 ديسمبر (كانون الأول) . تأتي هذه الإصدارات الجديدة من اللعبة لتلحق بإصدارات منصات ‘أكس بوكس 360’ و‘بلايستيشن 3’ والحاسوب التي تم الإعلان عنها سابقاً في ديسمبر (كانون الأول 09).

ترون: إفليوشن – باتل جريد (إصدارة ‘ويي’)

قامت شركة n-space Inc., بتطوير هذه اللعبة التي تدور أحداثها في ساحات معارك عالم ‘ترون’ وشوارعها، وتشتمل اللعبة على نمط البطولة Championship Mode حيث يمكن للأصدقاء اللعب معاً أو التنافس ضد بعضهم البعض في مباريات يمكن تشخيصها بالكامل، أما نمط القصة Story mode فيسمح للاعبين بتطوير شخصيتهم التي ابتكروها في المعركة لتكون بطل Championship Game Grid، كما تقدم لنا اللعبة أيضاً أكثر من 15 شبكة لعب game grid بأسلحة ومركبات ‘ترون’ الشهيرة. يستطيع مجموعة من الأصدقاء سصل عددها إلى 4 أصدقاء التنافس في مباراة محلية في تحديات In-grid challenges.

تلقي اللعبة باللاعب في خضمك أحداثها، وهي تشتمل على نمط المغامرة حيث يخوض اللاعبون معاركهم في الساحات أثناء محاولتهم كشف غموض مؤامرة للتلاعب بألعاب جريد Grid Games، كما تقدم لنا اللعبة بطولة Grid Games Championship حيث يتنافس اللاعبون في مباريات أو سباقات. تقدم Grid games لعب جماعي بمركبات ‘ترون’ المميزة مثل الدراجات والدبابات في أنماط لعب تعاونية أو تنافسية تشمل على نمط ‘الإستيلاء على الراية’ Capture the Flag و‘من يصمد أطول’ The Last man Standing.

نبذة عن فيلم ‘ترون: ليجاسي’

Ubisoft launches its first iPad game ’يبوبيسوفت تطلق أول ألعابها للـ‘آي باد

Ubisoft’s first release for iPhone and iPod touch was Assassin’s Creed II, for the iPad it’s Might & Magic Heroes Kingdoms. A free to play game with subscription options, where it allows players to take part in online battles whilst building and expanding their kingdom.

Might & Magic Heroes Kingdoms is heading for a PC and Mac release this summer, but for now the iPad version is only available in France, UK and Germany. If you are still interested in the game, the official website has some news, although mainly in French! Mystery solved when we tell you that France is the hometown of Ubisoft (Oui!).

تحطيم رقم ‘أكبر تجمع للمنصات المحمولة‘ العالمي على يد لاعبي لندن

تمكن لاعبو معرض ‘MCM Expo من تسجيل اسمهم للمرة الثانية في موسوعة جينيس للأرقام القياسية بعد أن تمكنوا من تحطيم الرقم القياسي العالمي لأكبر تجمع للمنصات المحمولة حيث اجتمع أكثر من 580 لاعب في قاعة اكسيل يوم السبت 29 مايو (آيار) ومعهم اجهزة ‘نينتندو دي اس’ الخاصة بهم ليحطموا الرقم العالمي السابق المسجل باسم 381 لاعب من استراليا.

Laura Parker from Gamespot has interviewed Sony Australia’s head Michael Ephraim, where he confirmed that the upcoming PSP2 will be a download content-only device and could even be a mobile phone. Ephraim did not elaborate much, but it seems that Sony has decided to drop the UMD support completely, preparing itself for a digital distribution future.

“PSPGo was the first device of its kind where you did not have packaged goods or pre-recorded media. I think PSPGo will blaze the trail for future iterations of the handheld.” Ephraim went on to say that handheld devices are competing with mobile phones, “The handheld space is very crowded, not just in the games category but also with smart phones and so on.”

When asked how many PS3s were sold in Australia, Ephraim answered: “Around the mark of 850,000 units, 150,000 of them were bundled with the Sony Bravia TV.” Not bad for the down-under part of the world.

أجرت ‘لورا باركر’ مراسلة موقع ‘جايم سبوت’ مقابلة مع ‘مايكل إفرايم’ مدير شركة ‘سوني’ في استراليا أكد فيها أن جهاز ‘بي اس بي 2’ القادم لن يقبل سوى المحتويات الأصلية التي يتم تنزيلها عليه من سوق ‘بلايستيشن نتورك’ وأنه يمكن استخدامه أيضاً كهاتف جوال، لم يسهب ‘إفرايم’ في الحديث عن ‘بي اس بي 2’ ولكن يبدو أن ‘سوني‘ قد قررت التخلي عن دعم أقراص UMD في التوزيع والتأهب لدخول مجال التوزيع الرقمي.

قال ‘إفرايم’ كان PSPGo أول جهاز يطرح في الأسواق بدون أي ألعاب مرفقة أو أقراص، وأعتقد أنه سيمهد الطريق لجيل جديد من المنصات المحمولة التي جاءت لتنافس الهواتف النقالة، وأضاف أن ساحة الأجهزة المحمولة مزدحمة بمنصات الألعاب المحمولة والهواتف النقالة الذكية أيضاً”.
وعند سؤال ‘إفرايم’ عن عدد أجهزة ‘بلايستيشن 3’ التي بيعت في استراليا، أجاب:” ما يقرب من 850,000 وحدة بيعت 15,000 منها في عرض مع شاشات ‘سوني-برافيا’ وهو رقم لا بأس به بالنسبة لجزئنا السفلي من الكرة الأرضية.

Launching in the United States on July 11 and July 23 in Europe, DRAGON QUEST IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies for NDS lets players enjoy an adventure that is entirely their own, yet can be shared with others anywhere, any time. Developed by Square Enix, Sentinels of the Starry Skies has already become a phenomenon with players of all ages in Japan, with more than 4.2 million units sold.

Before setting off on their adventure, players can create their own heroes, deciding how they would like their face, hair and clothing to look. As the story unfolds, players become stronger, smarter and more powerful, and can customize companions who join their group. Players will have fun discovering more than 1,000 pieces of clothing, armor, weapons and other items that will provide them with a unique appearance and special abilities. Players can also change the class of their character at any time, choosing from a variety of vocations that will affect their abilities and strengths in the game.

Players begin their adventure as a city guardian who is sent to retrieve a sacred tree’s fruits, which have the power to grant wishes. During their journey, players will encounter mighty opponents in fast-paced battles, and also interact with a colorful cast of characters. The game features special modes that let players share their adventure with others, allowing up to four players to team up via a local wireless connection and experience the fun of tackling challenging monsters and dungeons cooperatively with their own characters.

Players can even leave the game active in their backpacks, pockets or purses and still interact with other players via an interactive “Tag Mode.” Information about players’ characters can be wirelessly transmitted to others, and treasure maps and customized greetings can be exchanged automatically by players who come within range of one another when their games are set to Tag Mode.

Some of the in-game quests will be earned by progressing through the levels, while additional quests will be made available for free download over broadband Internet after the game launches. Some downloadable quests will continue the main storyline of the game, while others offer standalone missions.

كما يستطيع اللاعبون ترك اللعبة تعمل في حقائب الظهر الخاصة بهم أو في جيوبهم والتفاعل مع لاعبين آخرين من خلال نمط تفاعلي يسمى Tag Mode ، حيث يرسل الجهاز لاسلكيا معلومات عن شخصيات اللاعبين للآخرين، كما يمكن تبادل خرائط الكنوز والتحيات المشخصة تلقائياً بين أي لاعبين يصادف دخولهم في نفس المجال بشرط ضبط لعبتهم على Tag Mode

Puzzle Quest 2 coming to PCs & Handhelds إصدار ‘بازل كويست 2’ للحاسوب والمنصات المحمولة

Namco Networks has announced that it’s planning to launch the PC version of Puzzle Quest 2 this summer and the mobile, iPhone and iPad versions later this year. The PC game will be digitally distributed from Namcogames.com and other leading digital distribution portals. The NDS version of the game is slated for June 22 release, for $29.95 while the downloadable Xbox 360 edition is expected in summer.

Puzzle Quest 2 is a Match 3 puzzle, fantasy and role-playing game developed by Infinite Interactive and produced by D3Publisher (D3P) where gamers reclaim the once peaceful village of Verloren from the evil clutches of the demon Gorgon. Gamers can play four distinct characters — Templar, Sorcerer, Barbarian or Assassin — that provide interesting twists on class-specific mechanics. While progressing, characters can be levelled up through the adventure in Story Mode, Instant Action, Tournament Mode or Multiplayer Mode.

NFS Shift coming out on Android ’نيد فور سبيد شيفت’ قادمة لنظام التشغيل ‘آندرويد

Android, the contender mobile phones OS, is gaining momentum day after day, yet still it lacks AAA games titles support, but that might be changing as EA’s Need For Speed Shift (which is also one of the best selling iPhone games) is set for a June 4th release, to coincide with the launch of the Sprint / HTC Evo 4G phone in the US. Jordan from I4U.com news site saw a demo of the game, and he confirmed that it uses accelerometer tilt controls to control vehicles. The graphics were sharp on the Evo’s 4.3″ screen, and it looked really nice when the phone was connected through its mini-HDMI output to a huge projection screen.

EA Mobile isn’t a complete stranger to Android, they released a few Android games (Monopoly, The Sims 3, Tetris, and Bejeweled). Those releases did not score high with gamers, as many of them reported a lot of force closes. One can only hope EA Mobile will do it right this time, competition is good, and might keep spiralling mobile games prices at bay.

يوماً بعد يوم تتضخم إماكانات برنامج تشغيل الهواتف النقالة ‘آندرويد’ Android، لكنه لا يزال يفتقر لدعم ألعاب AAA إلا أن هذا العيب في طريقه للزوال؛ فقد حددت شركة ‘اليكترونيك آرتس’ EA الرابع من يونيو (حزيران) تاريخاً لإصدار لعبة ‘نيد فور سبيد شيفت’ NFS (أحد أعلى الألعاب مبيعاً لأجهزة الـ‘آي فون’) لنظام التشغيل ‘آندرويد’، ويتزامن هذا الإصدار مع إصدار هاتف Sprint / HTC Evo 4G في الولايات المتحدة. شاهد ‘جوردان’ من موقع ‘آي فور يو’ الإخباري عرض تجريبي للعبة، وأكد أن التحكم بالمركبات فيها يتم باستخدام مقياس Accelometer Tilt، كما ذكر أن الرسوميات كانت رائعة على شاشة Evo، كما أنها بدت أروع عند عرضها على شاشة كبيرة بتوصيل الهاتف بمخرج HDMI مصغر.
يذكر أن شركة ‘إليكترونيك آرتس’Mobile EA ليست بغريبة على برنامج ‘آندرويد، فقد سبق وقدمت عدة ألعاب له مثل ( Monopoly، This Sims 3، Tetris، Bejeweled)، إلا أن هذه الألعاب لم تحقق نجاحاً بين اللاعبين بل أن العديد منهم أبلغ عن إنطفاء هاتفه فجأة أثناء اللعب بها. نأمل أن توفق EA Mobile هذه المرة فالمنافسة عصيبة

Sony Europe has announced that thay’re gearing up to release a range of PSP titles at budget prices this summer. The 20 games pack will be called PSP Essentials, to sell for £9.99 (60 Dhs) each, with more titles added every 3 months. أعلنت ‘سوني’ أوروبا أنها تستعد لإصدار مجموعة من ألعاب PSP هذا الصيف بأسعار مخفضة. المجموعة تتألف من 20 لعبة وتسمي PSP Essentials وستباع اللعبة الواحدة منها بسعر 9.99 جنية استرليني (ما يعادل 60 درهم إماراتي)، ويضاف شهرياً 3 ألعاب جديدة لهذه المجموعة. لا نعرف بعد إن كان هذا العرض سيأتي على هيئة اسطوانات UMD أم محتويات يتم تنزيلها للـPSP go أم الإثنين معاً!

Fastest selling PSP Metal Gear game? Peace Walker

After releasing in Japan, the country where people love the PSP, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker made good sales, not enough though to make it the top selling game for the week. But it did increase the PSP sales in Japan.

Andriasang is reporting that Media Create website, which publishes the weekly hardware sales figures in Japan, has crowned the PSP as the top selling platform for the period from April 26 to May 2, doubling its sales form the week prior.

Here’s the full Media Create chart, and a look at how the little GO is still fighting, along with its elder sibling the PS2. The Xbox360 sales is still low as well, compared to the PS3.

MGS Peace Walker gets 40/40 in Famitsu ميتل جير سوليد: بيس ووكر تحصل على علامة كاملة في مجلة فامتسو

Famitsu, the most famous Japanese gaming magazine, has given Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on the PSP the perfect score, a 40 out of 40, its highest possible score, and the first one for Famitsu in this year. Famitsu has only given perfect review scores to titles like Final Fantasy XII (2006), Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (in 2008), Bayonetta (in 2009), New Super Mario Bros. Wii (in 2009). Kotaku is doubting that Famitsu has sold itself cheap with this score, for reasons they detail here.

Peace Walker takes the series in an exciting new direction with incredible visuals, as it sheds new light on well-known adversaries and allies, along with a wealth of new characters. It boasts stunning visuals, remarkable enemy AI, and a fresh, exciting plot that will delight and surprise. In addition to solo operations, players can team up via the game’s the multi-player CO-OPS (CO-operative OPerationS) mode. This extends to key gameplay advances, with players administering medical help to colleagues, sharing munitions, or providing cover for each other using the Snake formation to cover each other’s blind spots.

Hideo Kojima’s next installment in the Metal Gear Solid series – will arrive on June 17th, 2010 in Europe, Middle East and Africa, while arriving earlier in North America on June 8th, 2010.

Getting the Famitsu’s perfect score is a big thing in Japan, and maybe the whole world. We shall to wait and try the game for ourselves, to see whether Famitsu sold its credibility to the devil or not!

أعطت مجلة Famitsu اليابانية الشهيرة لعبة Meta Gear Solid:Peace Walker المخصصة لجهاز PSP علامة كاملة، 40 من 40، وهو أعلى تقدير ممكن، وأول علامة كاملة تعطيها المجلة لأية لعبة هذا العام. حيث لم تعط هذه المجلة علامة كاملة سوى لألعاب شهيرة مثل بايونتا في 2009 وفاينل فانتسي 12 في عام 2006، على أن موقع كوتاكو Kotaku يشكك في هذه العلامة وتساءل فيما إن كانت Famitsu قد باعت نفسها بشكل رخيص من خلال هذا التقدير الزائد للعبة، وذلك للأسباب الموجودة في هذا التقرير.

يقود هذا الجزء الجديد اللعبة نحو اتجاهات جديدة مثيرة، وذلك عبر رسوميات مبهرة، حيث يتم تسليط ضوء خاص على الأعداء والاصدقاء لتمييزهم، إضافة إلى عدد كبير من الشخصيات الجديدة. كما تتميز اللعبة بتحسينات كبيرة في رسومياتها، وذكاء اصطناعي ممتاز للأعداء، إضافة إلى قصة جديدة مليئة بالمفاجآت. وبالإضافة إلى مهام اللاعب المنفرد، يمكن للاعبين أن يتشاركا في اللعب من خلال نمط لعب تشاركي خاص Co-ops. وهذا يزيد من خيارات اللعب الخاصة باللعبة، حيث يصير بإمكان اللاعبين إدارة عمليات المساعدة الطبية لزملائهم، المشاركة بالذخيرة أو تقديم التغطية النارية لبعضهم البعض باستخدام تشكيلات الأفعى وتغطية البقع العمياء لكل واحد منهم.

سيصل الجزء الجديد من سلسلة Metal Gear Solid إلى الشرق الأوسط وأوربا وأفريقيا في 17 يونيو 2010. فيما يصل أمريكا بوقت مبكر في 8 يونيو 2010. الحصول على العلامة التامة في مجلة Famitsu هو شيء خطير جداً في اليابان، بل وفي العالم كله أيضاً. سوف ننتظر ونجرب اللعبة بأنفسنا لنرى فيما إذا كانت Fimatsu قد باعت مصداقيتها للشيطان أم لا!
