E3-Disney: Tron Evolution comes to handheld أخبار معرض ‘إيه ثري’: ديزني تصدر لعبة ‘ترون إيفليوشن’ للمنصات المحمولة

The TRON universe is coming to additional platforms, thanks to Disney Interactive Studios, namely the Wii, NDS and PSP. These games join the previously announced (in Dec 09) TRON: Evolution for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Windows PC. The TRON: Evolution games will be released in Holiday 2010 before the “TRON: Legacy” film hits U.S. theaters on December 17 in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D.

Ubisoft launches its first iPad game ’يبوبيسوفت تطلق أول ألعابها للـ‘آي باد

Ubisoft’s first release for iPhone and iPod touch was Assassin’s Creed II, for the iPad it’s Might & Magic Heroes Kingdoms. A free to play game with subscription options, where it allows players to take part in online battles whilst building and expanding their kingdom.

London gamers smash NDS world record أكبر تجمع عالمي لمحبي منصة ألعاب في لندن

Gamers at the London MCM Expo have smashed the Guinness World Record for the Largest Handheld Game Console Party. More than 580 people gathered at Excel on Saturday 29 May with their Nintendo DS handheld consoles to break the previous record of 381 people, held by Australia.

PSP2 will be a download-only device ’بي اس بي2’ لا يقبل سوى المحتويات التي يتم تنزيلها فقط

Laura Parker from Gamespot has interviewed Sony Australia’s head Michael Ephraim, where he confirmed that the upcoming PSP2 will be a download content-only device and could even be a mobile phone. Ephraim did not elaborate much, but it seems that Sony has decided to drop the UMD support completely, preparing itself for a digital distribution future.

Puzzle Quest 2 coming to PCs & Handhelds إصدار ‘بازل كويست 2’ للحاسوب والمنصات المحمولة

Namco Networks has announced that it’s planning to launch the PC version of Puzzle Quest 2 this summer and the mobile, iPhone and iPad versions later this year. The PC game will be digitally distributed from Namcogames.com and other leading digital distribution portals. The NDS version of the game is slated for June 22 release, for $29.95 while the downloadable Xbox 360 edition is expected in summer.

NFS Shift coming out on Android ’نيد فور سبيد شيفت’ قادمة لنظام التشغيل ‘آندرويد

Android, the contender mobile phones OS, is gaining momentum day after day, yet still it lacks AAA games titles support, but that might be changing as EA’s Need For Speed Shift (which is also one of the best selling iPhone games) is set for a June 4th release, to coincide with the launch of the Sprint / HTC Evo 4G phone in the US. Jordan from I4U.com news site saw a demo of the game, and he confirmed that it uses accelerometer tilt controls to control vehicles. The graphics were sharp on the Evo’s 4.3″ screen, and it looked really nice when the phone was connected through its mini-HDMI output to a huge projection screen.
