Bethesda to publish Hunted: The Demon’s Forge لعبة القتال الخيالية “هنتد: ديمونز فورج”

Bethesda Softworks has announced that it will publish Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, a third-person co-op fantasy action game, currently being developed at inXile Entertainment for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PCs. Interestingly enough, inXile Entertainment was founded in by Brian Fargo, who  has been behind some of the greatest fantasy franchises, including The Bard’s Tale, Baldur’s Gate, and Fallout. Hunted’s development is being overseen by Fargo while Michael “Maxx” Kaufman serves as the game’s Director. Previously, Kaufman served as Art Director on such titles as Kingpin: Life of Crime, Redneck Rampage and Return to Castle Wolfenstein at Gray Matter.

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge pits you and your partner against waves of vicious enemies. Taking control of either of two mercenaries, E’lara, a ranged weapon expert, or Caddoc, a master swordsman, you must use a variety of weapons, powerful spells, and cover tactics to battle your way through menacing dungeons, overgrown ruins, and downtrodden towns. Discover secrets and complete co-op-based puzzles whilst exploring the sinister world to discover answers to the game’s deep, dark mysteries. Two players can control their two characters online, with no split-screen, as this solution is deemed best to maintain decent graphical performance. Each player can carry up to 3 potions to resurrect the other player if need be.

The story has it that the dark ages have become corrupted. Heinous creatures have emerged from underground. Townsfolk across the land are disappearing. Upon the promise of their fortune in gold, protagonists E’lara and Caddoc take on the daunting task of discovering where the innocent villagers have been taken. Their journey will lead them on a dark and twisted path where they will encounter death, slavery, and sacrifice. Travel deep within the world of Kala Moor…and to the secrets of The Demon’s Forge.

Powered by the Unreal 3 engine, the world of Hunted comes to life in a third-person dungeon crawl with the intensity and action of a modern-day shooter.

Co-op at a Distance
Combine E’lara’s ranged attacks with Caddoc’s melee expertise to pull off gruesome co-op kill moves, perform special attacks, and heal one another regardless of where they in relation to one another on the battlefield. The characters’ differing combat methods allow player strategy to vary from one play through to the next.

Two Ways to Fight
Wade into the thick of the fight using melee skills, or tactically use cover combat to dispatch hordes of creatures with bows and spells.

Spell-Powered Combat
Powerful magic spells can be used to boost your partner’s combat effectiveness and even the odds against increasingly formidable enemies.

No release date has been confirmed yet, but we believe Hunted: The Demon’s Forge may be coming out before the end of this year, as the game has been in development for two years now.

أعلنت شركة Bethesda Softworks بأنها ستنشر لعبة Hunted : The Demon’s Forge ، وهي لعبة قتال تشاركية Co-op خيالية من منظور الشخص الثالث TPS، يتم تطويرها حالياً من قبل شركة inXile Entertainment وذلك لأجهزة الحاسوب PC و Xbox360 و PS3. ومن المثير أن شركة inXile قد تأسست على يد “براين فارغو” وهو الرجل الذي كان وراء أفضل سلاسل الألعاب الخيالية مثل Bard’s Tale، Baldur’s Gate و Fallout. وسيكون “فارغو” هو المشرف على تطوير لعبة Hunted فيما يقوم “مايكل كوفمان-Maxx” بدور مخرج اللعبة. حيث عمل “كوفمان” من قبل كمخرج فني لألعاب كثيرة مثل Kingpin: Life of Crime, Redneck Rampage و Return to Castle Wolfenstein لحساب شركة Gray Matter.

تقوم لعبة Hunted: The Demon’s Forge برميك مع شريكك في مواجهة أمواج من الأعداء الأشرار. ويمكنك أن تقوم بالتحكم بواحد أو اثنين من المرتزقة، “إلارا” وهي خبيرة بأسلحة الرماية، أو “كادوك” وهو خبير قتال بالسيوف. وعليك أن تستخدم أنواعاً مختلفة من الأسلحة والرقى السحرية القوية إضافة لتكتيكات الحماية من أجل شق طريقك وأنت تقاتل عبر سراديب جنونية، أنقاض عملاقة و مدن مسحوقة. اكتشف الأسرار وأكمل الأحجيات التي ستصادفك بالتعاون مع شريكك، وفيما تتجول في هذا العالم المشؤوم، حاول أن تجد الإجابة عن أعمق أسرار اللعبة الغامضة. يمكن للاعبين أن يتحكما بشخصيتيهما من خلال الإنترنت وذلك دون أن يتم تقسيم الشاشة بينهما Split-Screen ، حيث تم إلغاء هذا الخيار لضمان أفضل أداء لرسوميات اللعبة. ويمكن لكل لاعب أن يحمل معه ثلاثة محاليل سحرية لإنعاش اللاعب الآخر إن اقتضت الضرورة ذلك.

أما القصة فإنها تدور في العصور المظلمة التي تسودها الفوضى ،حيث تبدأ مخلوقات مرعبة بالخروج من العالم السفلي. ويبدأ سكان المدن بالاختفاء عبر البلاد. وهكذا، وطمعاً بالثروة ، يقوم بطلانا “إلارا” و “كادوك” بقبول مهمة البحث عن مصير السكان والمكان الذي يتم اختطافهم فيه. وستقودهم رحلتهم عبر أحداث قاتمة متشعبة ، يجابهون فيها الموت والعبودية والتضحية. قم بالسفر معهم عميقاً في عالم “كالا مور” واكتشف الأسرارالتي تكمن وراء اندفاع الشيطان.

ميزات اللعبة:

لعبة رماية خيالية
تستخدم اللعبة محرك Unreal 3 engine، وستشعر بأن عالم المخلوقات المسكونة سينبض بالحياة من منظور اللاعب (TPS) أثناء تقدمه في هذا الأتون الجهنمي مع كل الإثارة التي تضمنها أية لعبة رماية حديثة تستخدم تقنيات الساعة.

اللعب التشاركي عن بعد
إمزج قدرات “إلارا” على القتال البعيد مع قوة القتال القريب عند “كادوك” وذلك لتنفيذ حركات قتل رهيبة بشكل مشترك، قم بتنفيذ هجماتك الخاصة وعالج شريكك من الإصابة بغض النظر عن موقع أي منكما على أرض المعركة. كما أن طرق القتال المختلفة لدى الشخصيتين تمكنان اللاعب من تغيير استراتيجيته في كل معركة.

طريقتان للقتال
خُض في أتون المعركة مستخدماً مهارات القتال القريب أو قاتل بشكل تكتيكي مستخدماً السهام والرُقى السحرية لحماية شريكك وتشتيت حشود المخلوقات من حوله.

معارك مدعومة بقوة السحر
يمكن استخدام الرقى السحرية القوية لزيادة قدرات شريكك القتالية واستعادة التوازن على أرض معركة يحتلها عدو قوي متفوق بالعدد.

لم يتم تحديد موعد لإطلاق اللعبة بعد، لكننا نعتقد بأن لعبة Hunted: The demon’s Forge قد تصدر قبل نهاية العام، لأن العمل عليها قد بدأ قبل سنتين من الآن.
