Can Pure Football compete? هل يمكن للعبة “بيور فوتبول” أن تنافس

A few days ago, Ubisoft announced Pure Football, an entirely new sports brand that is being developed by Ubisoft Vancouver. More over, the game is slated for a May 2010 release. On Feb 1st, we reported on a rumor that Ubisoft might be hard at work developing a football game that will compete directly with the likes of FIFA and PES franchises.

As per the announcement, Pure Football is a new and unique vision of football video games, emphasizing the intense, physical and spectacular aspects of the sport. The over-the-shoulder camera and visceral audio dynamically react to the context of the match, placing the gamer in the heart of the five-a-side football action, as opposed to the feeling of watching a TV broadcast. The game releases on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in coming May 2010.

Pure Football will include 230 elite footballers, 17 international teams, and 17 legendary players. Gamers will have the opportunity to create their own customized athlete who can progress through the campaign mode to ultimately test themselves against the world’s best players in the final tournament. Up to four people can play multiplayer locally and 1v1 matches are supported online, along with the inclusion of leaderboards that allow players to match up to one another and celebrate the pure competitive nature of football.

Unlike EA, Ubisoft doesn’t have a license for 2010  FIFA World Cup South Africa, but it won’t go down without a fight, and that’s why we believe they’ve picked the month of May to launch this secret project. Such secrecy and hastiness would lead us to doubt the quality of the game, especially since early screenshots suggest that it might be an arcade type game (ie not going for simulation). Last year, Ubisoft released the Wii 5-on-5 arcade-based football game: Academy of Champions, which was averagely received by gamers and critics.

أعلنت شركة Ubisoft قبل أيام قليلة عن لعبتها الرياضية القادمة Pure Football، وهو اسم تجاري للعبة رياضية جديدة تماماً يتم تطويرها في استوديوهات Ubisoft Vancouver، والأكثر من ذللك فإن هذه اللعبة ستكون جاهزة للإطلاق في شهر مايو/آذار 2010. في أول فبراير، قمنا بوضع خبر حول شائعة تدور عن احتمال قيام Ubisoft بتطوير لعبة كرة قدم خاصة بها، لتنافس ألعاباً أخرى موجودة في السوق مثل سلاسل FIFA و PES.

وفقاً للإعلان فإن لعبة Pure Football تمثل منظوراً جديداً وفريداً لألعاب الفيديو التي تدور حول رياضة كرة القدم، فهي تركز على نواحي القوة، الحركات ومنظور المشاهدة للعبة، فزاوية الكاميرا التي تتحرك من أعلى كتف شخصية اللاعب ونظام الصوت الديناميكي المتغير الذي يعكس ما يجري في المباراة سيضعان اللاعب في قلب المباراة المليء بالإثارة مع فريقه: خمسة مقابل خمسة لاعبين. وذلك بشكل يخالف ما يشعر به اللاعبون في الألعاب الرياضية الحالية والتي يحس فيها أنه يشاهد مباراة منقولة تلفزيونياً. سيتم إطلاق اللعبة على أجهزة الحاسوب، PS3، و Xbox 360، في مايو القادم لهذا العام 2010.

تضم اللعبة 230 لاعباً من نخبة لاعبي كرة قدم، 17 فريقاً وطنياً، و 17 لاعباً أسطورياً. ويمكن للاعبين ابتكار وتخصيص الشخصية الرياضية التي يريدونها ومن ثم يقومون بتطويرها مع مراحل اللعبة في نمط الحملة Campaign Mode ليصلوا في المباراة النهائية إلى المواجهة مع أفضل اللاعبين في العالم. يمكن حتى لأربعة لاعبين أن يمارسوا اللعب الجماعي عبر شبكة داخلية إضافة لمباريات لاعب بمواجهة لاعب على الإنترنت، إضافة إلى احتوائها على لوائح أنجازات أفضل اللاعبين Leaderboards والتي تتيح للاعبين التباري فيما بينهم بشكل يعكس الطبيعة التنافسية للعبة كرة القدم.

بعكس شركة EA، فإن Ubisoft لا تملك ترخيصاً لتمثيل كأس العالم القادم في جنوب أفريقيا 2010 ضمن لعبتها الجديدة، لكنها لن تستسلم دون قتال، ولذلك فإننا نعتقد بأنها اختارت شهر مايو/آذار لإطلاق مشروعها السري تزامنا مع الاستعدادات لانطلاق بطولة كأس العالم المنتظرة في شهر يونيو 2010. هذه السرية ثم الاستعجال في إطلاق اللعبة يجعلنا نتساءل حول جودتها، خاصة وأن الصور الأولى من اللعبة تفترضها وكأنها من نمط Arcade (لن تكون من نمط المحاكاة الرياضية). في السنة الماضية، قامت Ubisoft بإطلاق لعبة كرة قدم خماسية من نمط Arcade على أجهزة Wii باسم : Academy of Champions غير أنها نالت قبولاً متوسطاً لدى اللاعبين والنقاد.
