Razor steps into console gaming world with Onza and Chimaera شركة رازر تدخل عالم أجهزة اللعب

Razer has been always a reputed manufacturer of high-end precision PC gaming peripherals, specially their mice, known for being the best in their range. Razer has taken its first steps towards the world of console gaming after receiving preliminary approval from Microsoft to develop the Razer Onza Professional Gaming Controller for the Xbox 360, and still awaiting Microsoft’s blessings for the Chimaera Professional Gaming Headset for Xbox 360.

The Onza (pictured above) features Hyperesponse buttons designed to give faster actuation and a crisp, tactile feel, analog sticks with customizable tension and a programmable multi-function button. The Onza will also allow gamers to vary the tension required to tilt the analog stick for maximum comfort and customization bringing an element of personal preference to the world of console gaming. The multi-function button can be mapped to act as one of the action buttons, the analog stick buttons or an auto-fire button by using a sliding selector switch at the bottom of the controller. The Razer Onza is further distinguished by a sharply-lit edge, for gaming that stays in style, even in the dark. The expected selling price for the Onza is $50 and €45. Let’s hope the D-Pad is actually decent on this one.

Designed to provide sharp sound quality, the Chimaera is equipped with a 5.1 Channel Virtual Surround sound system, a Daisy-Chain cable system and a circumaural design for optimum sound quality and comfort. The Daisy-Chain solution allows multiple Razer base stations to be connected to create a direct, private communication channel for in-game team conversations. The circumaural design of the headset allows for optimum noise isolation for long-hours of comfortable gameplay without any outside interruptions. The expected selling price for the Chimaera is $130 and €110.

لطالما ارتبط اسم شركة Razer مع أفضل الملحقات المصنعة للحواسيب الشخصية وألعابها وخاصة الفأرات التي اشتهرت بأنها الأفضل في هذا المجال. ويبدو أن شركة Razer ستخطو أولى خطواتها في عالم أجهزة اللعب المنزلي وذلك بعد الموافقة المبدئية التي منحتها شركة Microsoft لها لتطوير جهاز التحكم Razer Onza الخاص بأجهزة Xbox 360، ولا تزال تنتظر موافقة Microsoft على التصميم الأولي لسماعات اللعب الاحترافية Chimaera والمخصصة أيضاً لأجهزة Xbox360.

يتضمن جهاز التحكم Onza أزراراً فائقة الحساسية مصممة لتأمين سرعة تجاوب أكبر وإمساك أفضل، إضافة لإحساس لمس ناعم، كما يوجد على جهاز التحكم عصا تحكم قابلة لضبط معدل شدها وزراً قابلاً للبرمجة بوظائف مختلفة. وستتيح Onza للاعبين إمكانية تعديل قوة جذب عصي التحكم ومداها لضمان راحتهم مما يسمح بدخول عصر التعديلات والتطورات الشخصية على معدات التحكم في عالم ألعاب الفيديو. كما يمكن برمجة الزر متعدد الاستخدامات ليكون زر تنفيذ أوامر معينة كالتحرك أو إطلاق النار الآلي، وذلك باستخدام زر اختيار منزلق في أسفل جهاز التحكم. كما يمكن تمييز جهاز التحكم Onza من خط حافته المضيء الذي يبقيه أنيقاً ومرئياً حتى في الظلام. أما السعر المتوقع لهذا الجهاز فهو 50$ أو 45 يورو. فلنأمل أن أزرار التحكم بالاتجاهات في هذا الجهاز D-pad ستكون جيدة هذه المرة.

تم تصميم سماعات الصوت الاحترافية Chimaera لتؤمن جودة صوت عالية، وهي مزودة بنظام صوت افتراضي متعدد الجهات 5.1.، كبل تسلسلي وتصميم انسيابي محيط بالرأس، يتيح الكبل التسلسلي وصل مجموعة سماعات لتأمين شبكة محادثة خاصة مباشرة بين اللاعبين ضمن نفس الفريق. أما التصميم الانسيابي المحيط بالرأس، فيتيح أفضل عزل ممكن عن الضجيج الخارجي خلال ساعات لعب طويلة دون اي مقاطعات. السعر المتوقع لسماعات Chimaera هو 130$ أو 110يورو.
