Published by Capcom, Dark Void is an upcoming sci-fi action-adventure video game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Players will fight aliens on-foot and in mid-air combat, assuming the role of a cargo pilot named William Augustus Grey. Will crashes in the Bermuda Triangle, and then – you guessed it – he gets teleported to a parallel universe called “The Void,” where he encounters other humans, called Survivors. Together, Will and the survivors must battle an alien race known as the Watchers and return to Earth. Capcom is offering a demo for gamers to try out the game, before its release this coming week.

With the launch of Capcom’s sci-fi shooter, Dark Void, right around the corner, Capcom is giving gamers a chance to experience the void for themselves this week with a downloadable demo coming to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The Dark Void demo will be available for download from Xbox Live on Wednesday January 6th and PlayStation Network on Thursday January 7th

The demo will give gamers a chance to strap on their jet pack for the first time and explore the mysterious and miraculous world of Dark Void through a combination of thrilling aerial dog-fighting, unique vertical cover action and on-foot combat. Dark Void is scheduled for release across European territories on Friday January 22nd and will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Dark Void هي لعبة مغامرات وإثارة في جو خيال علمي من إنتاج شركة Capcom على أجهزة الحاسوب وXbox360 وPS3. وسيحارب اللاعب فيها المخلوقات الفضائية على اليابسة وفي الجو، حيث يلعب دور قائد طائرة شحن اسمه ويليم أوجستس جراي. والذي تتحطم طائرته أثناء رحلة عبر مثلث برمودا الغامض ثم احزروا ما الذي سيحدث، سيتم نقله بالتخاطر الى عالم مواز لعالمنا تسيطر فيه المخلوقات الفضائية اسمه The Void حيث سيصادف بشراً آخرين من الناجين Survivors ومعاً سيحاولون القتال ضد جنس الكائنات الفضائية ( يطلق عليه اسم المراقبون watchers ) وذلك للعودة الى الأرض. وتقدم شركة كابكوم نسخة تجريبية ليجرب اللاعبون اللعبة قبل إطلاقها الأسبوع القادم.

مع قرب موعد إطلاق لعبة Dark Void الفضائية فإن شركة كابكوم تتيح للاعبين خلال هذا الأسبوع تحميل النسخة التجريبية من شبكة Xbox Live يوم الأربعاء 6 يناير ومن شبكة Playstation Network في 7 يناير.

ستعطي النسخة التجريبية اللاعبين فرصة ارتداء الحقيبة النفاثة لأول مرة واستكشاف العالم المثير والمتوحش على كوكب void وذلك عبر مجموعة معارك في المنطقة، بعضها يجري على اليابسة وبعضها يجري في عالم شاقولي جوي. ومن المخطط أن يتم طرح اللعبة في الأسواق الأوربية يوم الجمعة 22 يناير لأجهزة الحاسوب الشخصي وXbox360 و PS3.
