Looking for a retro Neo-Geo in Emirates? جهاز نيو جيو العتيق متوفر للشراء في الإمارات

While surfing the internet we came across an auction for a Neo-Geo in Dubai, UAE. The seller is asking for 4,000 Dhs (nearly $1,100) in return for the Neo-Geo AES, plus 30 original games, a memory card and a controlelr. Now that’s a real deal for any retro fan, and should that fan be in the Gulf region then they should contact the seller here.

The Neo-Geo was first released in 1990 by the Japanese videogames company SNK. It was hailed back then for its superior graphics and sound capabilities. The Neo-Geo managed to display 4,096 colors along with 380 individual sprites onscreen simultaneously, and offered 15 channels of sound with seven channels reserved specifically for digital sound effects.

The last official game released by SNK for the Neo Geo system was Samurai Shodown V Perfect, in 2005. Because of the rising piracy of its cartridges, SNK decided to abandon the hardware business, and so by the end of 1997, SNK ceased to manufacture home consoles, but continued to release games on it for another 7 years.

أثناء تجوالنا في ربوع انترنت عثرنا على مزاد لجهاز Neo-Geo في دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة. ويطلب صاحبه مبلغ 4.000 درهم (تقريباً 1100$) مقابلاً له، إضافة إلى 30 لعبة أصلية خاصة به، مع بطاقة ذاكرة ووحدة تحكم. حسناً هذه صفقة رائعة لهواة منصات العب العتيقة وإن كان أحدهم في الإمارات فعليه الاتصال بالبائع من هنا.

تم إطلاق الجهاز Neo-Geo أول مرة عام 1990 من قبل الشركة اليابانية SNK، وتمت الاشادة آنذاك بما قدمه من رسوميات وأصوات عالية الجودة عن منافسيه. فقد نجح الجهاز وقتها في عرض 4.096 لوناً مع تحريك 380 صورة منفصلة على الشاشة في وقت واحد، وشغل 15 قناة صوتية سبعة منها مخصصة للمؤثرات الصوتية الرقمية.

آخر لعبة اصدرتها شركة SNK لهذا الجهاز كانت لعبة Samurai Shodown V Perfect عام 2005. مع العلم أنه مع نهاية عام 1997 فقد قررت الشركة إيقاف العمل على تصنيع هذا الجهاز نتيجة لانتشار قرصنة ألعابه، واستمرت في تطوير ألعاب له لسبع سنوات لاحقة.
