
Capcom finally announced the final character for Super Street Fighter IV, the Turkish oil wrestler Hakan. The God of War series has traditionally been banned in the UAE by the National Media Council, as it contradicts the country’s cultural beliefs and values. A direct result of such banhammers is that nobody actually cares except high street retailers, so people who actually want to play these games can get it from smaller shops or just import them directly from US or UK.
One of our readers in Dubai has shown his recently acquired copy of the game, a full week before official release date. A full week before the NMC even has a chance to ban the game.

Electronic Arts has announced the all-new Exotic Racing Series pack for Need for Speed SHIFT. On March 18th, gamers will have access to seven exotic new cars and an new track in the game. As promised, Ubisoft launched today (or rather unlocked) the R.U.S.E. beta on Steam. Anyone with a Steam account can download the Beta file (around 1.6 GB) and start playing. The Beta is understood to last for a month, after that Ubisoft may extend it further or just pull the plug on the testers, so waste no time, rush and click the download link. The Beat starts with a small video by producer Mathieu Girardand and Alexis from the developers; Eugen Systems, showcasing the major additions since the VIP Beta version of RUSE was launched.

Ubisoft has released a new video for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, showcasing the next instalment’s gameplay techniques, going back to its roots (i.e. side scrolling levels), while showing a small glimpse at the story and how it unfolds, the wall runs and the acrobatics jumps that the prince is famous for.
